170th Anniversary Celebration
Saturday, June 22, 2019Wheeling 250’s Summer Signature event will be on Saturday, June 22 — a celebration of our beloved, iconic Wheeling Suspension Bridge, a national historic landmark. This year marks the 170th anniversary of the completion of the bridge in 1849! Our day-long event will feature:
- Live music and food provided by our event partner the Wheeling Chicken and Rib Cookoff
- Storytelling
- A plein air painting party
- River cruises on the Gateway Clipper Queen
- Fireworks viewing party aboard the Gateway Clipper Queen
Sponsorship Levels
| $500 | Receive four (4) tickets for Gateway Clipper day cruises (Noon – 6pm) |
| $1,000 | Receive six (6) tickets for Gateway Clipper day cruises (Noon – 6pm) |
| $1,500 | Receive four (4) tickets for fireworks cruise (7pm – 10pm) Includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music and fireworks viewing from the boat |
| $2,500 | Receive six (6) tickets for fireworks cruise (7pm – 10pm) Includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music and fireworks viewing from the boat |
